KLIA to Ipoh, door to door

Ipoh is about 250 km north of KLIA, almost all of it on expressway. Your driver takes the ELITE north from the airport, joins the PLUS at the Shah Alam interchange and stays on it to the Ipoh South or Simpang Pulai exit, then into the old town, Greentown, Ipoh Garden or out to Tambun. On a clear run it is two and a half hours; a Friday afternoon or a holiday eve adds up to thirty minutes.

The train alternative works well from the city but not from the airport: you would take the KLIA Ekspres to KL Sentral, the ETS to Ipoh, then a taxi with your bags. For two or more people, the private car is simpler and usually cheaper once the fares are added up.

Where your driver meets you

At KLIA1, come down to Level 1 and walk to Door 6. At KLIA2, the meeting point is Level 2, Door 3. Your driver holds a name board with your name. We track the flight, and the driver’s details reach you the evening before.
